By accessing and using SCIO Copilot ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SCIO Copilot provides an AI-powered conversational assistant designed for clinicians. The Service includes:

  • AI chat functionality for protocol-aware assistance
  • Conversation history and message persistence
  • Multi-user authentication and account management
  • Subscription management (currently mock implementation)

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account by providing:

  • A valid email address
  • A secure password meeting our requirements

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Transmit harmful or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Medical Disclaimer

Important: SCIO Copilot is an AI assistant tool and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service:

  • Does not provide medical advice or clinical recommendations
  • Should not be used in medical emergencies
  • Should not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals
  • May produce inaccurate or incomplete information

Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with any questions regarding medical conditions or treatment.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by SCIO Copilot and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and process your conversations
  • Use aggregate, anonymized data to improve the Service

7. Subscription and Billing

Current Implementation: The subscription system is currently a mock implementation for demonstration purposes. No real payments are processed.

When Real Billing is Implemented:

  • Subscriptions will be billed according to the selected plan
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds will be provided according to our refund policy
  • Pricing is subject to change with notice

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in thePrivacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Specific uptime or availability
  • That the Service will meet your requirements
  • That defects will be corrected

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCIO Copilot shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Service interruptions or errors
  • Actions taken based on AI-generated content

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SCIO Copilot from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others

12. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account at any time
  • Remove or disable access to any content
  • Take legal action if necessary

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
